Public speaking can help the listener have a better understanding of the topic of the presentation itself and help visually demonstrate the topic to the listener.

3) What are some tips/strategies for slides/presentation software?

Tips or strategies would be to include photos, diagrams, or tables to not just hand on information but to visually show it as well.
